This workshop covers the following topics:
- CO2 from the emitters to transport: CO2 concentration, impurities, pressure and temperature
- CO2 storage site: depleted hydrocarbon reservoirs / saline aquifers
- Screening
- Site selection, assessment, storage capacity, containment
- CO2 Injection rates, Injectivity test design
- CO2 injector well: design, drilling and monitoring. Well integrity assessment for existing wells
- Regulation and permits
- CCS Business case. Main mechanisms to support CCS project (tax credit, carbon pricing, others)
- Environment considerations and Monitoring plan
- Societal and public perception
