Call for Reviewers and Session Chairs

The success and quality of the EAGE Annual Technical Programme depend on the expertise and commitment of our reviewers and session chairs. We invite professionals from across the geoscience and engineering community to contribute to this important process.

Why Get Involved

Abstract reviewing and evaluation are key steps in shaping the Technical Programme. Reviewers provide valuable feedback and scores that guide the Technical Programme Committee in building high-quality sessions.

During the conference, each technical session is co-chaired by two experts who facilitate discussion, moderate Q&A, and ensure the sessions run smoothly and on time.

Eligibility to Become a Reviewer

To join the reviewer community for the EAGE Annual 2026, you should meet the following requirements:

  • At least three years of research or professional experience in fields relevant to EAGE’s Annual Conference. Key disciplines include geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering, petrophysics, and energy transition topics such as Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), geothermal energy, hydrogen and energy storage, and offshore wind.
  • A minimum of three publications on relevant topics in peer-reviewed journals or at conferences (extended abstracts of the EAGE or its associated societies).
  • Active EAGE membership.
