Geosciences are the backbone of our modern world. From the water we drink and the food we eat to the energy that powers our homes and the minerals that build our technology, the responsible use of the Earth’s resources are at the heart of modern human life.
The EAGE Geoscience Outreach Day will welcome secondary school students from across Aberdeen and the North East to celebrate and explore the vital role geoscientists play in building a sustainable future. Students will engage with energy professionals and university professors to learn about

- Who Can Participate?
Secondary school students from S2, S3, S4 accompanied by a teacher. And S5 and S6 students. All attending students must be registered in advance through the DYW - Are there any costs involved?
The EAGE Geoscience Outreach Day is entirely free for participating students including bus transportation, activities, and lunch - How can I support this?
Organisations can support by co-organising a STEM activity or mini-workshop or through financial contributions to covering the costs.
